I started work at the new "boutique" on thursday. Went down after school to help yilin out. Actually, she definitely didn't need any. It was so... quiet! But luckily the Boss, his family and the other "Partners" were out of town. So they couldn't tell me that i was not needed. Hehehe..

Went down on friday after school as well. And work a few more hours on Saturday and Sunday. So the pay should be coming out this friday. Hopefully i will have like 120 bucks credited to my account? Then i can go on a Pinky Spree!!! Yay!!!

Friday was nice, my babe came to fetch me after work. *So sweet* Then we went to the DFS to walk walk.. Wow!!! I was seriously sinning man. (Covetousness is a sin) The makeup sets are so so cool!

That's not a good enough word to describe the whole feeling of elation and awe. Like a little kid in a candy store for the first time. I'm not that Suaku la. It's not that i have never been there before or seen real nice makeup sets, etc.. But i dunno why, the overall impression was one of grandeur and exclusiveness. *Bite me*

So we walked around, i was eyeing all the fluffy brushes and cute freebies that come with an exorbitant pricetag. (Coz you gotta purchase like, $120 and above to get the freebies) I have to say that top notch designer makeup designs are incredible. No competition man.

Actually, those stuff can be seen in any shopping centre i guess. But, well... Maybe coz i haven gone window shopping in a long time.. Heheheh No money la.. *Hint hint*

So after that, my babe sent me home lohx. *smiles*

Well, since sales wasn't good at all, i may be out of a job soon. Lolx.. but must as well try to live life to the fullest and just heck care what are the consequences. I mean in terms of finances la. Not saying you should go and Steal, rape or kill just because that's your cup of tea. *Bleahx* But you should always put away just a little bit, for a rainy day. *Duh*

Have to pia my project presentation. Gotta let my sup see tommorrow morning. but damn, I still dunno how to to the driver circuit! ARGH!!!! I doubt if i can complete my slides on time... Haiz..

Had another dispute with him earlier on. About the same old thing.. Haiz.. To me I'm just trying my luck, but to him I'm trying to force him into doing things which he does not wanna do.

I know it doesn't have to be so difficult, troublesome, frustrating. Alot of times, i delibrately goad him into an argument. Just for the sake of getting a response, albeit not a good one.But a response nevertheless. Better then nothing at all other then "Orh, ah.." etc..

The other way would be to pretend nothing bothers me. Like a stefford wife. I'm sure lotsa guys would love that kinda woman. Hmm.. Anyway, his love theory is that to be happiest is to have total freedom. Great theory right? I have already rebuffed that, but to no avail.

Frankly speaking, I'm just sick of this. Tired. Good days are fantastic. But the other days get me really down. But he doesn't seem to give a fuck. Actually he does a little, but if he doesn't show it, i won't see it, feel it.

Alot of us gals dream of being a princess when we were small. How many of us actually managed to achieve that?

I don't need to be a princess, but i sure would like the option to choose!

Woo!! I've discovered another money grabbing bitch!!! Damn! Wahahaha.. It's not what you think.. But just as bad la...

Do you remember your childhood? Or least it played a part in mine.. THose machines that where lined up outside makmak shops. Or inside shopping centres? I used to love pressing my face against the grubby plastic machine, trying in vain to look inside and see if the next toy is the one i wanted.

Yes, the little pleasures in life when i was young. Delight when i got Bouncy balls or cute purses. Despair when i got plastic creepy crawlies. I used to "dong" for the mini trolls as well. Until my mama kept saying they were evil... Lolx

Spent many happy times inserting my 20 cent coin and "kra, kra, kra" turning the dial. "Dong" the capsule drops out and the anticipation of what may lie inside..

Well, the "Dong dong" fever of mine has come back! I call it Dongdong coz of the sound it makes when it drops out. But i have just discovered that in Singapore at least, they are called Tikam machines. Tikam meaning: to bet, or gamble, in malay. I still prefer my own connotation tho.. Hehehe.. dongdong.. sounds nicer -winkz-

So anyway, yes.. i have gotten the fever again. But everything changes, so even the dongdongs have changed. they used to be all gaudy red, greens and yellows. Now they are classy, white and erm.. spacious? Lolx.. Bigger, definitely.. But of course, "upgrading" in looks also mean upgrading in cost. Previously, you could dong for 20 cents. Now? At least a dollar.. Haiz....

Gone are the days where 10 cents could actually get you stuff. Like 5 hacks or an ice lolly.

The new dongdongs also differ in a way that, you know what you are going to get. Roughly know, anyhoo.. It used to be that they would show on the insert what you could get, but you may not get that at all. Now dongdongs have very beautiful inserts on the front that show the "product" and the available colours or range that you might get. Ohhh.... The price ranges from $1 for something small, or some that comes with a wide selection. To $3 for the more exclusive types..

There are a few ranges i wanna get, and it's going to cost me a pretty penny.. I go for the more exclusive types. Hehehe.. Like Hello Kitty stuff or Binchotan (Which i have not started yet) The Binchotan one is not a dong dong product, but a Tikam one. Coz it comes in a sealed box, so you won't know what you are going to get. This is a uber expensive range. ranging from $6-$10 for one box. Argh!! Me and my weakness for kawaii merchandise.

Anyway, i'm sure you're sick of my endless yammering.. So i shall post a few pix to whet your appetite for dongdong stuff! Muahahahaha

Met up with my Poly mates on Monday for a gathering.. Coz some of them will be serving the Nation soon, so this will most probably be the last outing.


We went to Cineleisure for dinner. A japanese steamboat cum Tepanyaki Buffet Restaurent. I think it's called Yuki Yaki? I can't remember.. Hehehe.. And it was great fun! Especially the ice cream buffet ($2 more) We "Cooked" our own ice cream! (Flavours are provided) Basically, the ice cream comes in liquid form. So we pour onto the tepan pan(Which is now not hot, but very cold) and spread it, then wait for it to freeze abit, scrape together and spread it again. Repeat steps until it resembles ice cream.

My birthday is officially over!!! 1 year older, wiser, less to live.. Lolx

Well, had a good birthday this year coz i got to meet up with a few old friends.

On the 17th, i went out for a birthday dinner and movie with my mama and sis. It was fun! Hehehehe.. We went to Billy Bomber's for dinner. My 2nd time there. The food wasn't that fantastic, but i really liked the potato salad and the yummilicious Cookies and Cream Shake! Wahahaha.. The serving for the appetisers are kinda big, so by the time the main course came, we were quite full already *burps* (Excuse me =p) we tried to finish what we could and then we asked for a doggy bag. Hahahaha

Went to Cineleisure after dinner to catch "Last Quarter" A japanese movie with Hyde in a starring role. OMG! Sad to say, but he really can't act well.. lolx.. He should just keep to singing instead. But he was eye candy.. *Slurps* And the female lead wasn't pretty either. So it was a little painful to have to stare at her close ups the whole way..

The only redeeming features was the other male lead, who was the comic relief. And the story line.. The story line may have been kinda predictable, but still watchable.

I give it 3 popcorns!!!

On the way home, my sis and I had a wild time taking pix on the MRT. Lolx! I enjoyed myself that day.

The 18th was my actual birthday, and i celebrated it with my babe.

My babe actually said that he would come in the morning and fetch me to school, but he didn't come. Didn't call me in the morning. I was so so disappointed! What a way to start my birthday.. Haiz.. Keep hoping that he was just late, but no sign of him..

Went to school in the morning, then i met Mel for lunch. He gave me a prezzie, and i felt so embarrassed! As i have said before, he is a sweetie.. After that, went back to my lab and whiled away my time doing nothing much. I sent an "upset" message to my babe, for getting my hopes up, and only around 3 then he replied. Asked where i was, and that he would be coming to fetch me later.

He came to my school at 1715, tried to stay "angry" with him, but couldn't, as usual.. Anyway, to cut a long story short, we had dinner, Lagsania, meat balls and pizza. Coz i had a hankering for lagsania and meat balls. He gave me prezzies. I love it!!! Hehehe.. And he was super duper nice to me the whole way! So sweet! Thank you baby!!! We watched, or should I say, I watched "KungFu Hustle" I must say, it's a really crappy but funny show! Lolx

He really put in effort, and i felt really special, as in... Loved.. So it was good.. A good birthday.

I found out what was the prezzie that got smashed. A 3D puzzle! Oh! How sad...

Then late at night, he sent me home. That was the end of my birthday extravaganza this year! Hehehe.. I think.. maybe Sunday will be the last celebration, not too sure yet..

I'm really tired now, didn't go school today coz i wasn't feeling well.. But i did abit of repainting for Reina. Her top and her second pair of legs. Soon, soon.. i will post Pinky pix. Gotta go sleep. My head is trobbing..

I'm fucking freezing in my lab! Freezing my butt off, my arms are numb, my fingers can hardly type and i feel like a popsicle! *BLows into cupped hands* It's like freaking Siberia around here! Can almost see my breath vapourising? You know what i mean...

and i am so damn sleepy.. I can't find my supervisor again, so i'm just surfing and wasting my time in the lab. I reached at 1 plus today.. Hehehehe.. Couldn't wake up. So anyway, I'm going to look for my sup, hope he is not in his office so thenm i may just sign out and leave. I'm sooo... bored!!

Yay! Just Modded pinky Reina today! Spent the afternoon sanding and cutting and sanding somemore!

Actually i only did the hair, my sis painted over the boots, legs and skirt. Lolx.. She accomplished alot more then i did! And damn does it look so much better!

Oohh.. i love the boots and the undies that she painted! wouldn't have done it any other way. Altho it still looks a little rough, it just needs some smoothing out and then... A whole new pinky char. Hehehehe~

After dinner, i met up with Suyin for a chat.. Huiling joined us later on.. It's so good to be with my pri school babes again! Of course we all have changed somewhat, but the chemistry is still there i guess. Have to try to make sure that we do not fall out of touch again! Huiling left earlier (She's in high demand)to meet her friends at Holland V, so Suyin and I stayed on.

Later on, Ahtat and Hao fan came down to pass me my prezzie. A bottle of Red Wine!! Lolx!! I dun drink wine, but at least now i've got a bottle on standby just in case. Thanks Guys! We went off when Shawn came down to pick Suyin up. Hope you enjoyed your night babe!

Last night I had a sort of birthday gathering. With some ole' friends. Went clubbing at China Black. OMG! I was so hyped up, a whole night of dancing!! My babes all came, Suyin, Huiling, Yilin, Iris and Yiyan! Had a great time dancing on the platform with my pri sch gals, at the bar with my biatches and on the dance floor with Yiyan and co. lolx.. Groovy baby *slurps* Lotsa eye candy for the guys, Huiling attracted lotsa attention, aye gal.. hahaha.. I haven seen her since pri school, so I had a really good time with her and Suyin. Suyin had a cutie offering a drink.. lolx and I was like, fast fading into the background with these two bootilicious babes around -grinz- Too bad Yilin and Iris had to leave earlier. Hope u gals enjoyed yourself as well...

The club played good music, and you know that clubbing is mostly about the music.. Actually I heard that lotsa 'kids' go there, but I was having such a great time, that I didn't notice.. hehehe

On the cab back home, Suyin and I were teasing Huiling about guys wanting to get to know her. She 'complained' that they were all weirdos! Lolx, but I guess Travis is not too weird hur... -poke poke- Hope that later on we can meet up for dinner or something, coz Suyin is flying out on Tuesday.

My Prezzies

It's not even my birthday yet, and I feel like it's already over. Mixed emotions, it just feels so celebrated, so I guess the actual day will be like an anti-climax.

Something sad happened, my babe told me that yesterday, he went to get my prezzie. He made the trip down to a specific location for the sole purpose of getting that something for me. You know what happened? On the way back, an accident occurred. No persons were harmed, no vehicles crashed, the only thing that got smashed was... You got it, my prezzie!

He rides a bike, so usually, he hooks whateva he needs to carry on his handlebar. Along the way, the plastic bag crept up his arm, and he was trying to adjust it. "Pop" (ok, there was no sound, but I think it warrants some effects) the 'something' pops out of the bag and drops on the road. So what did my babe do??? He slowed to a stop, kept looking behind to see if it's still intact. Apparently, the first car swerved to avoid it, but when he got off his bike and ran back.. There it lay, all smashed to bits, irrecoverable.

Baby, I'm so sorry that this happened and made you waste your time, effort and money. But I still want a prezzie you know. Lolx!!!

Was pretty upset when he told me about it, kept calling him stupid. Hehehehe -Bad girl- But babe, you know I love you no matter what.

PINKY ST!!!!! OMG, I love them!! Actually, I have been eyeing them since last year. When my sis and I decided to start collecting it. I bought one for my sis, and none for myself. But that's all gonna change.. Hehehehe

Due to certain events, or should I say, a certain event, which has not come to pass.. I can't post pics yet and I can't mention some stuff. But anyway, I'm bursting today, so I'll just let a little leak.. -grinz-

I blew another 60 bucks, of which I should not, and do not have to spare. I bought 4 bootleg Pinkys! lolx.. Yes, I know, you should always do originals.. But I'm using these for experiments. I wanna try my hand at Modding and customizing.. But i sorta got cheated. I bought 2 from Tiong Bahru Plaza, and they sold it at $5.90 each. But when i went to Northpoint, They were selling it at 2 for $5.90 (Buy 1 get 1 free) Argh!!! And Bt Panjang Plaza was also selling it at that price! So i got my mama to buy 2 more. Hehehe.. 3 for me, 3 for my sis.. i guess =) Oh... I'm so excited!!!!

On to other things, Did i tell you about my first day of work? It didn't go as well as expected.

I was slightly late, due to a jam.. But work was ok. The boss had some friends over for lunch. So i was sort of thrown into things at the Bistro. Pretty fun tho... hehehe.. The food smelt heavenly. Grilled Dory, Roast Chicken, Soup, Spaggetti... Yummy... Didn't get to try it, coz the boss was there.. *shrugs* anyway, What made it a bad day was after the people left. There wasn't anything much to do after all the washing and drying was done. So i went to ask the Boss about my schedule. He humm, ermmm around and couldn't give me anything definite. So his gf was the one who told me straight. The new store's renovations have been held up, so it won't be opening yet. And the main store already had so many staff. That day there were 7 people, including the boss, his gf and his mother. So they didn't need me there.

Basically, i'm supposed to wait for them to call if they need me. Or wait til the other outlet opens! Haiz... so unprofessional.. So i'm feeling damn sian about this job. First day already like that. Oh ya, and they asked me to leave at 4 that day. Very smart of them. Wait til i finish helping to wash and dry then ask me to go. Dammit!

I really do not feel like working now. Not for them, or anyone else. guess i'm just lazy. My project is at a standstill because of my supp paper. Which is tommorrow, and i haven studied yet. oh no... i hope i won't fail.

To top it off, I've got 2 HuGe Monstrous pimples, I think i will look grosteque on my birthday coz of pms. It'll probably come on that day. Argh!!! I hate womanly woes!!! Bleahx -screws up face- I'll probably be all bloated and pimply on fri! How to go clubbing like that! Hur hur...

Off to take a bath, and try to find some wonder solution so that tommorrow i won't have to go to school looking like a "before" of some pimple cream Ad. -yucks-

Totally and utterly broke.. No more $$$$. Have to watch what I spend from now onwards. Why why? You may ask, I thought Oblique was a miserly tightfisted biatch? (I just said that for the effect, I'm not. Really) You should know why. It's May! And what is so special about May, you may ask..

Firstly, Mother's Day. Yes, the special day that the world chooses to pay special tribute to our mamas. The day that we voice out, show and recognize the effort, time, blood , sweat and money our mothers lavished over us. The day, that we, as children, try to do something nice and touching for our mamas. Some people just buy things, sometimes without a thought. Some cook, some clean, some make stuff. Whatever we do, it's all in the effort of showing our mothers how much we love her.-Hear hear-

Second thing, my sister's birthday. Tho she can be thoroughly obnoxious at times, and very trying. But we are bond by blood and i love her very much.. lolx

Thirdly, my own birthday. Yes, yes.. This special lady here was brought into the world on a nice summer day in May.. hehehe (Might have been storming for all i know)

And lots of other peoples birthdays!!!

So you get the idea now? That's why I'm so broke!!!! i always overspend on gifts for my family.. Haiz..

So anyway, yesterday i met Vivian, and went shopping at Cineleisure. OMG.. bought a small load of stuff from one particular store, which cost me loads!!! lolx.. in the 3-digit region. Anyway, that was for my sis. Then we went to Plaza Singapura, and i got my mama's prezzie from there.. Total damage, including the cream my sis and i will be getting for my mama, $200+

Okai, it may not seem like much to those who are rich, or working.. hehehe.. But for me, a poor student, employed but have not started work, with not much in her name.. $200+ is quite alot to spend.

I took pics of the gifts le, but can't post yet. Til the occasions have past. Just in case.... i don't want the surprise to be spoilt.

(ya rite) lolx.. and Mr nice guy actually agreed. All i need to do is to sign in and out everyday!!! Weeee... But i've got no mood to study, so most probably i will spend this little break taking long breaks and playing games.. (Bad bad girl)

Met Melvin for lunch. The sweetie, "da baoed" KFC from AMK for me... Hehehe.. He wants to go catch a movie with me this Friday, But i'm still thinking about it first. If he really just wanna be purely friends then i guess it's okai.. Hehehe.. But would a guy really treat a gal so nice if he doesn't have ulterior motives?? I will give him the benefit of the doubt. So anyway, Thank Yew Mel, for the lunch!!

First things first. this is going to be a very boring post. Coz im too tired to blog, definitely not in the mood. Just a short little update, in case i can't keep up this week.

HAd a nice day, went to church, my grandma's for lunch. and stayed there til like 8 plus chatting with my Uncle, watching TV and playing with the clay my uncle bought.. hehe..

I made one little pathetic teapot. Whereas my sis made 2 teapots, 3 cups, a tray, larry the cucumber, bob the tomato and a chick. Wah.... Productive right? lolx. My uncle made personalized "cookies" and my mama made a lil' baby whale. -smiles- So i enjoyed myself ya.. Actually my babe asked if i wanted to go cycling with his family, but my mama disapproved. coz it was like 6 plus already. so i didn't go.

Lolx.. i have not watched any Riverdancing before. so i'm keen to find out if it appeals to me. I do know that lots of extremely toned legs will be on display. *Leers* Wahahaha

Had a quarrel with my babe just now. Over a small thing, miniscule actually. But blew up big and ugly. Ended on a bad note, spoilt my whole day as well as his. -Black Mood- *shrugs* Whatever.. I'm, sick sick sick..
