One colleague was eating with her hubby, the other with his friend and another eating in.



So I bought 2 sandwiches, one tuna and one ham & cheese and proceeded to sit at my desk and stare at my monitor.

C'est la Vie, I hate food allergies!!!

Just got back from the doctor's.


I'm on MC, again..... *sighs*


It totally sucks! I do not relish being on MC again, but the doc says I have to say home.


When he looked at the inside of my lips he was like, "tsk, tsk, tsk" He said it's probably due to food allergies, so he prescribed allergy tablets and oralgel. I'm supposed to sat home so that it doesn't get infected/affected by environmental dirt and dust, etc



My lips are itchy and dry now, and I'm not supposed to lick/wet them with my tongue *bleahz*.



I feel so bad that I can't go work again. Sianz...

Just watched Little Miss Sunshine. Quaint, funny and touching.


I just love this sort of movies.

I was listening to Beck the whole day, or at least, between the million issues at work today.


Today, work was HELL. One big issue after another. 2.5Hrs of OT.


My jaw and head is killing me! So tense, so tense.. I need muscle relaxants!


Is there anyway to relax my jaw?! My brain feels like its being squeezed dry.


Anyways, just got The Banquet :)

I am so looking forward to the CNY long weekend!


Work has been so hectic and tiring.
With 1 man down and another doing the extended shift, everyone has to put in extra time to cover.


The worse thing to hit me is the extra weight I have gained since being employed by this company.

I'm 6kgs heavier!!! OMG!
Haiz.. Not only is it a sit down, non-movearound job. I am on antibiotics at the moment, so I have to eat full meals to ensure I do not throw up.


My clothes are all too tight, the waist bands of my jeans and bottoms which used to be slack, now cut cruelly and painfully into my stomach.


*Grrrr*


I have to save these few months paychecks for my sister's impending Japan trip, but I don't seem to be able to control my spending.


Bills unpaid, savings used up. Now I know why people can work full-time and yet not save any money.


Anyways, enough of complaining.
Going to meet up with my babe later tonight. Can't wait..
And tomorrow, meeting up with another good friend.


At least even in our busy lives, we make an effort to keep in contact.

This week I'm on early shift. Starts at 0730Hrs.

I have to get up at 0440Hrs the latest!

Another drought of posts..


My new temp job is so far so good..


It's not very tiring or too boring.


It can be challenging at times, and I hope to learn alot.


My colleagues are nice, can be fun, people.. Haha


But.....

Yes, there is always a but...



The travelling time to and fro work is ridiculous!



I start at 9am. I leave my home @ 7:10am so I can be slightly early.


I end work at 6pm. I reach home around 7:40pm - 8pm.



I'm tired, tired, tired.. What a huge waste of time..


But, what to do.. It's actually quite a good job..


Now.. If only HP will consider moving.. *grinz*


Today was a happier day then usual. Usually I'm not very happy la.


It's nice to feel someone's interest. =)

It's just a 2 month project and the pay isn't as good as I thought it would have been.. But I got it!


Despite having no IT background.. Lucky me =)

Mini Photolog & Big Decisions

Went to get presents for my baby on Monday, with Yilin for company. We were so damn hungry, and suddenly had a craving for Japanese food.



This is what we ate.. Whip out your hankies to wipe up that drool!!

Our main courses

Sushi/Sashimi Set *We lurveeee sashimi*

Snow crab rice and soft shell crab set which comes with buckwheat noodles *The rice had a fantastic flavour, sweet and very very yummy* Mmmmm

Our dessert, Tempura Ice Cream *Oh so heavenly, crispy on the outside and frozen not-too-sweet ice cream on the inside, topped with raspberry? strawberry? sauce*
A must try!

All done!!

We were there over an hour. Enjoying the wonderful food..



Next, on Friday we went for the Vivocity Job Fair.



So so many people.. and had to queue to get in. Once inside, we realised that there actually wasn't many jobs we were interested in.



I left with 1 confirmation, and a call back.



So now, i have no idea what I should choose?



Confirmed: Mexx *affiliate of Liz Clairborne* Retail Assistant, Retail Hours 44hr/week, $1000

Call back: La Senza Admin Assistant, 9-6 mon-fri, $1000+?

Others:

Engineer: Queensway, 7:30-5:15, $1400

Relief teacher: 5.5hr/day $65



I really dunno what to do.. As for the La Senza one, i may not even get a call from them. If they do not call, then i have one less choice.


I don't like retail hours, because i hate giving up my weekends. The only day i can spend more time with my baby. But, the people who interviewed me seemed nice. And it is a designer boutique.



I do not like engineering, but Eugene is working there. So I have a friend. And the salary is higher.



Relief teaching... The kids, erm.. I have no idea how it will turn out. And it's only if they need you, they will call.



Haiz.. Have to consider carefully then decide. I'm partial to the La Senza job over the Mexx job. But each has it's own pros and cons.



Working in a designer boutique would so quite cool, but the behind the scenes of a lingerie line also entices me.


The other 2 jobs can be taken up anytime i guess, so they can wait..

A peek into my Life

Have not blogged in quite awhile!


Slacking at home, halfheartedly looking for a job. My sis got me a temp job, starts tommorrow. I have to be at Little India MRT station at 8am!! So i have to wake up by 6, what an ungodly hour =/



A tiny peek into the life of a presently reclusive binger.

My Desktop. Nice? Wallpaper was taken by moi. I quite like it. It actually brightens up my screen and there is a wonderful play of angles and reflections.



Been too lazy to update the past few weeks. But i had a nice stay in today. I cooked myself a cut of cod fish for lunch. Impromptu recipe of my own =p And abit of broccoli with baby corn on the side. Delish, if i do say so myself *grinz*



Decided to cook another cut of Cod for my mama for dinner. She has been bugging me about cooking dinner since I'm home most of the time. Tweeked the recipe abit to cater to my mama's taste, and it was even better then the first! Yummy!


The downside was the washing (I hate washing) and the little problem i had trying to keep the Cod from falling apart. With the skin on, it curls up as it is cooked. As it gets more done, the fish starts to flake apart. Haiz... I really wanted to do it as Cod steak instead of Cod Flakes. *bah*
All in all, i enjoyed cooking something that wasn't too weird (most of my recipes are) and tasted FAB! Lolx *winkz*



Now I'm only hoping that the job is interesting and not too tiring. @ 55 bucks a day for 9.5Hrs, the pay is not fantastic at all. But passable.. Anywayz, I can leave early if i get the job done fast. The problem is that i have not done PC migration stuff, or setting up, etc.. So i hope i can pick it up fast.



I need the money.
